I just moved, and I am already making friends in my new 'hood. Speaking of which - I also have some new slang to share with you...
'Vic' - used mostly by the kids to describe what we would call a 'looser'. It's short for Victim. Here is what the Urban Dictionary has to say about it.
And the longer I am living in new york - surprisingly, I have had more and more opportunities to use the term 'nancy' or 'you freaking nancy' - which is explained here.
