I spent the first leg of my Holidays this year in the Sunshine state, and I gotta tell you, it was a little crazy knowing that New York was getting snow while I was getting some much needed Vitamin D in teh O.C.

Jesus wasn't the only one to have a birthday this December! There were many little blessings, and reminders of goodness and purity, but none so lovely as this little newborn!
Arriving back into town, my cab driver, of all people, commented on the state of the streets (un-plowed as they were). "It's like being in a third-world country" he stated. I just laughed and said "I guess we're back in Brooklyn - 'sounds about right!"
