Learning about Catholic imagry

This image (above) is of a tapestry that I recognized (at least a replica of) in the recent Harry Potter movie. The original is rumored to hang at the New York Cloister Museum. I plan on visiting soon to take a gander at this, and more, classic Christian imagery.

As always click to get the full size image, and print on setting "scale to fit media".

There are 2 ways to construct this project. (1) cut out each section of beads as a strand, and glue ends into the icon bead. OR (2) cut out each bead - no precision needed - crumple each into a ball, then string them together with a needle and thread. Look at sample image below for both styles...
